I highly recommend this book! It’s an important read for all first responders and for those who care about them. Dr. Tania Glenn escorts the reader through the unique challenges that first responders and their families face. Through the use of stories from her 27 years on the job, she highlights the problems and solutions she’s learned. Buy this book! Read it. Ingest it. It’s important. Let’s take care of each other. #suckitptsd

If you are a first responder, veteran, or emergency department employee, please read this book. I read half while on shift and the other half donating blood. You can find time. It will change your outlook. It will change your perspective. Just. Read. It.
