I was gifted my copy of Beyond the Shadows to read and post my honest review.

Elice Glasser is a Christian, Mom of 3 great kids, business owner and widow. Since her husband was killed in a fiery race car crash, she has not had any interest in dating let alone falling in love. Better to be single with the Lord than to allow her self to fall for someone who may not be the man the Lord has for her. That is until the day Cabot Murray walked onto her property and into her heart.
Cabot Murray is a widower, ex-cop and now living on his families farm trying to continue the healing process since losing his wife & daughter in a fire meant for him. He has decided staying single is the best option for him since he knows there is an ex-convict that has been released from prison and may be trying to exact the threat he made toward Cabot. That he will kill him when he gets out. But when he goes to Twin Acres Signs to get a new sign made for his farm he leaves with a feeling that he has not had for a long time…interest in the woman who owns the business and her daughter who is about the age his own daughter would have been. He now has to re-think the staying single decision.
Two people who have been through much hurt in their lives looking to have some peace and maybe more. But they both need to get to a point of letting go and learning to trust each other, circumstances and most important the Lord.

Thank you Ms. Lough for letting me participate. You never disappoint and always keep me hooked.
